Younghoon (Daniel) Lee, PhD Candidate (he/him)

Daniel is a PhD candidate studying inclusive physical activity for all individuals with diverse backgrounds and abilities at McMaster University. He is interested in the impact and role of community-based physical activity/sport programs in providing equitable opportunities and inclusive environments and is currently researching various perspectives and experiences on the impact of community-based recreational sports on newcomer youth’s acculturation and identity formation in ways that promote their positive youth development and cultural sustainability. Outside of the lab, you can find Daniel playing sports such as soccer, basketball, baseball, and has recently taken up golf as well.
