Meryem Filiz (Hon.Kinesiology), (she/her)

Meriem is a fourth year Honours Kinesiology student and an undergraduate thesis student in the ALA CoP lab. She is interested in promoting equity in exercise settings and supporting adaptive exercise programs for people with disabilities. Her aim is to create inclusive and diverse environments that respect and support the unique needs and aspirations of all participants. Outside of the lab, you can find Meryem at the cinema, catching up with recent movies and enjoying some good old popcorn. Additionally, as a personal trainer and fitness enthusiast, she spends a lot of time lifting weights and swimming.
